Avatar started it's life back in the day as a music publishing company. Music publishing is the ownership, control and exploitation of songs. We publish songs recorded by artists including Tony Toni Tone, DMX, Brandy, Tupac, Redman, Foxy Brown, Spice 1, Vaness Williams, Bell Biv Devoe, Patti Labelle, One Block Radius, Boys II Men, Ja Rule, Guy, Vinx, Planet Asia, Keith Murray, and many others.

Avatar licenses our music into film and television programs and commercials. We also collect royalties around the world on behalf of our writer and publishing partners.
